Charlotte
Street Hotel, 15-17 Charlotte Street, London, W1T 1RJ.
"The Julia Roberts of hotels - charming, beautiful, witty, friendly,
stylish and very cool" - The Financial Times
One of the most
luxurious townhouse hotels in London, Charlotte Street Hotel is situated
in the media neighbourhood of North Soho. It is just a minute's walk from
Soho Square and the theatre district, within easy reach of the financial
centre, and is surrounded by some of London's most vibrant bars, restaurants
and cafes.
The hotel comprises 52 bedrooms and suites, a brasserie, private screening
room, gym and several meeting rooms. Interiors by Kit Kemp reflect a fresh
modern English style. A "Bloomsbury Set" theme has been used
in many of the rooms with a huge mural in the brasserie reflecting scenes
of "contemporary London life". The drawing rooms are in the
spirit of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant who were influenced by Matisse
and some of the more colourful French painters. All rooms are individually
designed with furniture made to Kit's specifications. Her attention to
quality and detail is evident throughout.
